Mooipoort is a 3101metre 18 hole Boutique golf course with 29 separate T-boxes (Ladies & mens) and 18 greens and is situated north east from Pretoria on the R573 / Moloto road. The golf course is situated in the Roodeplaat / Dinokeng meander. The golf course was established circa 1987 and changed hands in March 2008. The new owners managed to improve the greens and fairways to a good standard. Mooipoort offers a licensed clubhouse were tired golfers can relax at the pub. There iis also a braai area named BIETJIE BOSVELD where golfers and their families can make the day a nice relaxing one with a typical South African braai. Mooipoort also offers DIE AFDAK – this venue can also be booked for more formal functions.
The green fees are R100.00 for 9 or 18-holes, with special rates for pensioners and scholars. There are also golf carts which can be hired for the 18-holes @R200 per cart
