The Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve Is Home To What Is Known As The Big 5, Which Includes Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo And Rhino With A Lare Quantity Of Plains Game The Dinokeng Game Reserve Is the First Big 5 Game Reserve In The Gauteng Province Of South Africa And Is Bordered By Large Communities Of Our Indigenous Population. It Is Unique In That The Area Which Presently Consists Of The The Game Reserve, Was Previously Farming Land And Many Of The Owners Of This Ground Still Stay On Their Properties, But Have Enclosed Their Residential Areas With Electrified Fencing In Order To Provide The Residents With A Reasonable Amount Of Safety From Elephant, Rhino, Predators And Other Dangerous Wildlife.

This Dinokeng Game Reserve Is Consistent With Efforts Which Is Continuing With Further Expansion And Is Comparable To Many Other Big 5 Reserves In South Africa. It Is Important To Note That This Initiative Can Be Used As A Model For The Rest Of The African Continent To Prove That Wildlife And Humans Can Co-Exist And That Communities Can Benefit From Tourism Which Takes Place Because Of The Existence Of The Big 5.
